NMS Band Takes 1st Place at Newark Days Parade!

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Ryann Hernandez and our incredible Advanced Band students for earning 1st place in the middle school category at the Newark Days Parade!
Their dedication, teamwork, and talent were on full display as they marched through the streets of Newark with pride. From early morning rehearsals to keeping perfect rhythm in the heat, this group showed what hard work and Cougar spirit can accomplish.
Way to go, NMS Band. . . you made us proud! 
And thank you, Mr. Hernandez, for your leadership and commitment to excellence.

Spirit Week at NMS! (September 22-26)

We’re celebrating school spirit all week long at Newark Middle! Spirit Week is a great way for students to have fun, express themselves, and build a stronger sense of community.
Here are the daily themes:

• Monday: Pajama Day
• Tuesday: Culture Day
• Wednesday: Sports Day
• Thursday: Twin Day
• Friday: School Colors Day (Blue, Yellow, or White)

We encourage all students to participate and show their Cougar pride! Thank you for continuing to support the joyful and inclusive culture we are building here at NMS.
