School Site Council

We need you! We are looking for Parents, Students, and Teachers to be a part of our School Site Council for the 2022-2023 school year. All interested parents must have a 6th, 7th, or 8th student currently enrolled at NMS. 

Attending the School Site Council (SSC) is a perfect opportunity to learn about how our school and support in the decision-making process benefit all our students. Some of our SSC topics include the following: student achievement plan, our school plan, workshops, and curriculum. 

Come and learn how you can become a member of SSC. We hope to see you there!

If you would like to join the meetings (in-person or virtual) they are held the 1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month from 3-4. For all interested, please contact Principal Gonzales (vgonzales@newarkunified.org) There is one voting student vacancy on the council.
